Method and limits
This is a coverage calculation, not a mixed-part nesting calculation. It works best for broad surface coverage where orientation and seams are handled separately.
Measure the net covered area, choose a waste allowance that reflects the pattern and defect risk, and enter the actual sheet format available from the supplier. The result always rounds up because partial sheets are not a purchase unit.
