This notice explains how SawNest handles calculator inputs, local browser storage, technical request data, and aggregate site analytics.
Calculator inputs
The calculators run in your browser. Cut dimensions and result layouts are not intentionally sent to a project database. The optional “Save locally” control stores the flagship project in your browser's local storage on that device.
Basic technical data
The hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals to deliver and protect the site.
Analytics
SawNest uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, referrers, browser and device categories, countries, and page-performance measurements. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or local storage for analytics, fingerprint visitors, track people across sites, or collect or use visitors' personal data for analytics. Cloudflare may still process standard request data to deliver and secure SawNest as described above. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy for more information.
Advertising
SawNest does not currently load advertising-network scripts or set advertising cookies. Before advertising is enabled, this notice and any required consent and privacy-choice controls will be updated to identify the provider, its purposes, and the choices available to visitors.
Your controls
You can remove a locally saved cut plan by clearing this site's storage in your browser. Blocking or clearing browser storage also prevents the local save feature from persisting.

The effective date above will change when this policy is materially updated. The version published at this URL is the current policy.
