Turn reviewed source dimensions into a cut list.
Keep the source beside your parts. Enter PDF dimensions, trace a calibrated drawing, or review supported rectangular OBJ solids. You choose the units, thickness, material and quantities before any layout is made.
Review a drawing or rectangular 3D parts
PDF and image rows are manually reviewed. Image tracing uses a scale you provide; it is an estimate, not OCR. OBJ extraction measures only separate, closed, axis-aligned rectangular solids. No units, grain, materials or stock are inferred.
Files stay in this browser tab. PDF/images: up to 10 MiB; OBJ: 4 MiB, 10,000 vertices, 20,000 faces, 100 solids. No external model materials are loaded. STL, STEP, SketchUp, curved/rotated solids and automatic photo measurement are unsupported.
Worked image calibration: pixels to millimeters
On a flat, undistorted drawing, suppose a labeled 100 mm reference spans 200 pixels. The scale is 100 ÷ 200 = 0.5 mm per pixel. A rectangle spanning 300 by 100 pixels would therefore represent 150 by 50 mm. This is an arithmetic example, not a measurement taken from your file.
- Choose a known dimension in the same drawing plane and calibrate against its endpoints.
- Trace the part, then compare another known dimension. Perspective, scans stretched in one axis, and imprecise endpoints can invalidate the scale.
- Confirm the finished width and length, units, thickness, material, quantity, and rotation rule before sending parts to the planner.
PDF review uses dimensions you enter explicitly; it does not infer a reliable cut list from a photograph. OBJ review supports restricted rectangular solids, not arbitrary 3D assemblies. If the source is ambiguous, obtain a dimensioned drawing or measure the part before planning cuts.
